So Ru got me a copy of the Smithsonian book of Natural History. We had spent alot of time watching nature documentaries, and specials on prehistoric creatures. The TERROR BIRD is one of them. One of the greatest predatory birds to ever live. They come in at anywhere from 5 feet to 9 feet, have incredible spine crushing strength in their beaks and legs, and were pretty damn impressive creatures.

It may replace the wolf as my totem animal.

P.S. I also found variations of the terror bird in the Pathfinder books. (A form of tabletop RPG) It may me very excited. I shouldn’t have.

You know, I am admittedly a bit of a club. I trip and blunder over stuff all the time. It’s no big deal, it just happens. But, I usually fall pretty well, and don’t scrape myself up. Well, the other night when I was coming home from work, I totally ate shit and fell hard on my knee, and twisted my ankle a little bit.

I can’t stop looking at it and thinking about the pictures for “Faces of Meth”. It looks like I was crawling around on the interstate for the bag I ditched just before I pulled over.

Today I reached out to a coworker with a little love. Fellow artists, I think that sometimes we forget that our talents are a gift, and that they are very special to those who are not blessed with the same.

Take a moment to reach out with art. You may never know everyone’s reaction, but you will know that it will touch someone.

At the De Young I saw the Masters of Venice exhibit, and there was this piece- Susanna and the Elders by Tintoretto.
